Submission

ACRI2016 will help to bring together contributions from several known scientists in the field of Cellular Automata and its related research areas regarding theory and applications. After a peer review process, accepted papers will be published by Springer-Verlag in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series. Authors are invited to submit high-quality, original and unpublished work which must be relevant to the conference topics. Contributions have to adhere to the LNCS content and formal requirements, including page limitations (no more than 10 pages A4). Papers should be written in English and complying with the Springer-Verlag format (http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html). The paper submissions as well as the reviewing process will be done electronically using the easychair conference system.

All submissions have to be uploaded in PDF file format by March 7th, 2016. Authors would be able to update/change their paper submission(s) before the deadline.

Any inquiry regarding the paper submission procedure could be adressed to the conference email adress : acri2016@univ-perp.fr. Additional information will be regularly posted on the conference website.

Referring process

The conference chairs will handle the refereeing process and follow the guidelines set regarding publication in LNCS series. The process of being accepted for publication will be very selective to guarantee the high quality of the issue. We are very fortunate to have an excellent international scientific committee that will have a crucial role in refereeing and evaluating the submitted papers.

The submitted papers will be assigned to be reviewed by the scientific committee members with the best expertise in the research subject of the paper. Reviewers will be required to comment on whether the results are new and nontrivial. Each paper will receive two detailed and conclusive reports for final recommendations of acceptance.
Publication

Accepted papers would appear in the conference proceedings which will be published by Springer-Verlag in the LNCS series. Upon acceptance of their paper, authors will be asked to prepare within a month, the final version of their work including all the recommendations and answers to referees. In case of major revision, the authors should prepare their revised manuscript s soon as possible and the concerned referees will be kindly asked for a second review. To avoid any disturbance in the publication process, authors should strictly follow the final submission deadline. The publication of the accepted articles and the presentation of the papers at the conference will be subject to a full registration rate, on time and by at least one author. Finally, acopyright form must be filled and signed by one of the authors in order to allow publication of their paper in the proceedings.
